"In The Tradition" on WDIY-FM, Allentown, PA

Tom is the producer/host of "In The Tradition" on WDIY-FM, the National Public Radio affiliate in Allentown, PA. His program, which features traditional based North American folk music, has aired on WDIY since the station signed on in January 1995. He has served as Folk Music Program Director and Music Director at the station, which offers over 15 hours of dedicated folk music programming each week. Prior to his tenure at WDIY, Tom was producer/host of "Sunday In The Mountains" on WXLV-FM in Schnecksville, PA and a folk music programmer and Folk Music Program Director at WMUH-FM in Allentown. He recently returned to WXLV, where he hosts Pet Sounds on Thursday mornings from 9 am to noon.

He has taught radio production at the Augusta Heritage Arts Workshops in Elkins, West Virginia, introducing students to the joys of radio broadcasting. He has produced a radio documentary on the music of Bela Fleck and Edgar Meyer which was aired throughout the US and Canada.
